2. Currency, tax and total

The transaction currency is . Before submission, checkout shows item prices, discounts, shipping, applicable sales tax and duties where known. Your bank or wallet may apply its own exchange rate or fee.

3. Authorisation and capture

Payment is authorised and captured . A temporary authorisation is not a final charge until captured. For split shipments or pre-orders, timing is and will be disclosed before purchase where required.

4. Providers and fraud controls

Payment and fraud providers are . Providers handle full card or wallet credentials where applicable; we receive the status and limited transaction details needed to fulfil and protect an order. A payment may be declined, delayed or held for verification.

5. Failed payments and cancellation

If payment fails, retry or use another method. An unpaid order is not accepted. We may cancel for suspected fraud, an obvious price error, legal restriction or unavailable stock and will refund captured amounts for the cancelled portion.

6. Refunds and chargebacks

Refunds follow the Refund Policy and normally return to the original method. Allow the provider's processing time. Contact with an order number before disputing when practical; this does not waive rights with your card issuer or under law.

7. Instalments, subscriptions and renewals

If instalments, buy-now-pay-later, memberships or recurring billing are offered, checkout must show the price, schedule, renewal date, cancellation method and consequences of failed payment before enrollment. Additional terms: . We will obtain any consent and send notices required by applicable automatic-renewal laws.

8. Contact

Payment support: hello@modoucs.com. Never include a full card number or password in a support message.

9. Authorisation holds and duplicate displays

A bank may display a temporary authorisation hold, a pending reversal or separate line items for a split shipment. The final captured amount is the amount confirmed by us and the provider, subject to correction of an obvious error and applicable law. If you see a suspected duplicate charge, contact hello@modoucs.com with dates, amounts and the last four digits only.

10. Gift cards, credits and taxes

Gift cards, store credits, promotional balances and their expiration or redemption rules are disclosed before purchase or issue. We do not replace a payment method with credit where law requires a cash refund. Sales tax and any duties are calculated from the transaction and delivery information available at checkout; a later tax adjustment may be required by law.

11. Security and account responsibility

Use a secure connection and protect your account, device and one-time codes. We will never ask for a password or full card number by email. Report suspected payment fraud immediately to and your payment provider; prompt reporting may help limit loss.

12. Provider disputes and records

A card issuer, wallet or instalment provider may offer a separate dispute process. You may use it without giving up a non-waivable legal right, but duplicate recovery is not permitted. We retain payment and refund records for the period reasonably needed for accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance and disputes.
